Just a quick note, I am vowing to try to post at least once a week – that does mean that all my posts probably wont be breakdowns and some will be just a few pictures of a lock or some other random thing, but oh well. Also, I am currently working on a breakdown that I think many people wil be very interested to see.

I am an independent locksmith in New York. The lock you mentioned in your post 31/2 years ago (Lock Picking 101) is made in China. The imitation medeco sells for $22 and the multi-lock copy sells for $14.00. The Medeco copy does not sell well here and the distributor which happens to be the importer also is not re-ordering. However she is fully stocked on multi-copy named Angal. They do not have a catalog.
If you need a sample cylinder i can purchase one for you. Let me know.
